Aaron Paul has been practising medicine for the past 24 years, and is still very excited about it. He has been more focused on orthopaedic oncology surgery for the past 13 years, and the management of sarcomas and bone metastases. Aaron has served as a doctor in Teluk Intan, Kuala Lumpur, Kuching, Kota Bharu, Adelaide and currently in Kota Kinabalu. He has learnt a lot from his patients, especially about resilience and hope. Grieving with them is always difficult and painful. He hopes to live till a hundred, God willing, in good health and of sound mind. The Orthopaedic Oncology work in Sabah sees around 300 plus surgeries being done a year, and in various hospitals around Sabah. There are very good partnerships with clinical oncology, and the other surgical disciplines. Dr Aaron finds that this is one of the biggest satisfactions of the cancer work in Sabah.

Dr. Ana Vetriana Abd Wahab holds a medical degree from the Science University of Malaysia (USM) and doctorate in obstetrics and gynaecology from the National University of Malaysia (UKM). She completed her subspecialty study in Reproductive Medicine in 2018. She received her training in fertility preservation, particularly ovarian tissue cryopreservation, at the Institute of Experimental Clinical Research (IREC) at the Université Catholique de Louvain in Belgium. She was awarded a Fellowship in Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology by the International Federation of Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology (IFEPAG) in Melbourne, Australia (2019).
In addition to being an expert in reproductive health, she is the only paediatric and adolescent gynaecologist in Borneo. Her areas of expertise include infertility and fertility preservation, advanced gynaecological laparoscopic surgery, congenital or Mullerian anomalies, and endometriosis. Dr. Ana V has also produced and reviewed a number of publications and is a frequent speaker at local and international events.
Dr. Ana V is currently practising at the SabahCare Fertility Centre, KPJ Sabah and Gleneagles Kota Kinabalu.

Dr. Daren was previously Consultant Oncologist at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire, UK. On return to Malaysia, he was Head of the Radiotherapy and Oncology Department and Clinical Research Centre at Hospital Wanita dan Kanak-Kanak Sabah from 2010 to 2014. He has been a Principal Investigator in over 10 multi-centred clinical trials and published his findings in peer reviewed journals.
He is currently a Consultant Oncologist at KPJ Sabah Specialist Hospital and is an Honorary Lecturer at University Malaysia Sabah.

He was awarded the Best Fellow Award in 2020. Dr. Fong is currently serving at Hospital Pulau Pinang, having previously served at Hospital Sultan Ismail, Johor Bahru. He is a trainer for the master and parallel pathway, as well as “Train the Trainer” programmes. He is the principal investigator for several lung, prostate, upper gastrointestinal and breast cancer trials.

He was awarded the Fellowship in Radiation Oncology (FRANZCR) by RANZCR in 2013. He is currently practising at AMDI, USM and Penang Adventist Hospital. His primary interest is in brachytherapy for the liver and tongue. The HyBIRT radiotherapy technique for tongue cancer is a novel treatment method developed by AMDI-USM team lead by Assoc Prof Dr. Gokula and the findings were presented as a proffered paper at ESTRO 2023.

She had extensive oncology training and experiences for the past 22 years and had won few best service awards during her oncology services in Hospital Kuala Lumpur. She had worked in various oncology disciplines and initiated the first Lung Tumour Board Meeting in Institute of Respiratory Medicine, Kuala Lumpur in 2010. She was also a key person in the development of the curriculum of Advanced Diploma in Nursing Oncology and Advanced Diploma in CT Simulation.
Dr. Hayani is currently a Resident Consultant at Mahkota Medical Centre and holds practice right in Pantai Hospital Ayer Keroh and Aurelius Hospital Nilai. She has special interest in breast and gynaecological malignancies and is currently active in clinical trials involving novel treatment and biosimilar drugs. She has been invited as reviewer of Medical Journal of Malaysia and she also writes in her Facebook page to educate the public about cancer. She has given many public talks on breast cancer both locally and internationally and recently she led Mahkota Medical Centre to be the first hospital being awarded Breast Cancer Clinical Program Certification internationally. Dr Hayani holds membership of European Society of Medical Oncology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Malaysian Oncological Society and Academy of Medicine Malaysia. Beside these, she is also an active member of various non-government organisations managing cancer patients and survivors.
