Greetings Everyone.
On behalf of the organizing committee, it is my pleasure to welcome all of you to the 34th Annual Scientific Congress of Malaysian Oncological Society 2023 (34th ASCOMOS 2023), which will be held from 6th to 8th October 2023 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
This will be our second face to face congress following the Covid-19 pandemic. After RECONNECTING at Hilton and Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur last year, we shall now move to Sabah, Land Below the Wind, where the majestic Mount Kinabalu is located. Sabah is a unique place richly blessed with beautiful nature and diverse cultures, with more than 30 ethnic groups.
Our committee has been working hard to put together this 3 day programme, which is a mixture of academic and social events for fellow oncologists, trainees, medical officers and our allied health professional colleagues. We also warmly welcome colleagues from other specialties who are part of our professional cancer care community, including cancer surgeons and physicians, as well as nuclear medicine and palliative care specialists.
We will be having both international and local speakers, all of whom are experts in their field. We hope this congress will give you a wonderful networking and meaningful educational experience.
We highly encourage you to send in your research work. All accepted abstracts for poster presentation will be awarded free registration to the congress. It will be a great opportunity and platform for you to present your work. There will be attractive cash prizes for winners. Do visit our website https://ascomos.com for further details on abstract submission as well as other updates on the congress.
We hope you will enjoy the programme as well as your stay in Sabah as much as we have enjoyed organizing the event.
