Posters should be developed using the following guidelines:
File format | The poster must be converted to PDF format before upload. |
Orientation & Format | Portrait Format, Single-Slide Ratio 9:16 |
Dimensions in Pixel | Minimum recommended size (format W x H) is 1125 x 2000px and maximum is 2250 x 4000px. |
Dimensions in cm | Minimum recommended size 29.7 cm x 42.0 cm A3 size dimensions OR use the template size provided. |
Recommended font size | Minimum 12 points |
Sound | No sound supported |
Label | The top of the poster must have a label indicating its title and author(s). |
Illustration | The illustrations included should be clear for web viewing |
Maximum file size | The total poster file size should not exceed 5MB. |

- All poster file submissions should be done through the submitter’s account on the Congress website by 8th September 2024.
Poster Display design – During ASCOMOS
- You will have one poster board and easel on which you will place your poster.
- The space of the actual board measures 30” x 40,” and we will have push pins available for your use although it wouldn’t hurt to bring a few of your own in case we run out.
- We also recommend that your smallest font be no smaller than 16 point.
Physical Poster Display Guidelines
- Poster Display in the Poster Gallery will be numbered as listed in the programme closer to the date
- Physical Posters should be developed using the following guidelines:
- Print Poster size: A0, Portrait Orientation.
- To be displayed during the conference from 11 October 2024 till 13 October 2024
- Orientation: Portrait size
- Minimum font size: 16pt
- Setup poster on 1st day of ASCOMOS (11th October), from 0700 hrs to 0800 hrs
- Do note that the poster(s) must be taken down at the end of Day 3 (13th October 2024, at 1345hrs)
E-Poster Guidelines
- You can set up your poster at your assigned poster board on the morning of ASCOMOS. Register at the check-in table prior to setting up your poster, and a representative will assist you.
- You must take your poster down at the end of the poster session. We cannot guarantee the safety of any posters remaining after this time as we must clean and vacate the premises.
- Size: Portrait, 19.05 cm width x 33.867 cm height (or 7.5 inches x 13.333 inches)
- File Size: Maximum 5MB
- File Format: PDF file
- Content: Please ensure your poster effectively communicates your research findings.
- Kindly note that there will be no live onsite presentation or Q&A session for the E-posters.
